Delete your
NiceTrax account.
You can delete your NiceTrax account and the data associated with it in the NiceTrax app, or ask our team to delete it for you.
- In the app: open Settings, then Account & Profile, then Delete Account and Data, and follow the steps. That phone is signed out at once, and no other phone or browser can renew its sign-in, so one already signed in stops working within the hour.
- Without the app: email info@nicetrax.com from the email address associated with your NiceTrax account. We will verify that the request belongs to you before deleting the account.
What will be deleted
Your NiceTrax account and sign-in, your display name and profile picture, and the NiceTrax data associated with the account, including every activity kept online, its share links and its tracking history.
How long it takes
In the app, your display name and picture are removed from your share links at once, and the activities, contacts and groups saved on that phone are deleted at once. Deleting everything else, the copy of your contacts and groups kept with your account included, starts about an hour later, and for an account with many activities it can take a little longer to finish. An emailed request is carried out once we have verified it; it deletes everything we keep, but not what is saved on your phones, so first delete the activities saved on each phone in the app's Activity History, and your contacts and groups in its Contacts and Groups, or remove the app.
Information that may be retained
A record that the account was deleted is kept for 40 days, backups age out within 35 days, and service logs, which may include activity identifiers and IP addresses, are kept for up to 90 days. We may retain limited information when necessary for legal obligations, security or fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or financial and transaction recordkeeping.
Subscriptions and app store records
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. Subscription and transaction records maintained independently by Google Play or Apple, and by our subscription provider, are governed by their retention policies and are not deleted when you delete your NiceTrax account.
